How's things? And the dreaded ra?

Things are doing ok here. The ra is thrashing about but the enbrel has decided to really attempt working but the side effects are troubling.
Would you believe bernie is at school? She started last week. They are getting used to seeing me as a mummy I think rather than someone who could be needy, which is what I want really!
Michaels got another yr at college (-a wonder in itself!)
Richards changed his hours - now 4 half days. It's really down to the increase in my needs and the unwillingness to go through recruiting new carers who then give up as they can't deal with the stress of a progressive illness in me.
I've got the one lady who's stuck with us since bernie was born and she and I are friends really So It sort of works
Gems, well! She's moved from the therapeutic unit to specialist care. I wanted her to go to a residential autism school but the la wouldnt fund and it they moved her to a placement that they are supportive and kind in. Whether it meets her needs- that's a question! Thing is its GCSE yr this yr and it would be nice for her to get a GCSE or 2.

I've managed a whole 5 weeks out of hospital....which, bearing in mind the recent track record isn't badHuh
The tummy is the over-riding problem. I'm praying it's not the enbrel.

Love
Jenni x

Ps I've got a new cuddles (see other thread!)

Hello all you lovely people :) xXx RA-wise i'm still hanging in there rather well, sulphasalazine's still working well for me. Had a few health problems last year, had a tiny hole in my heart discovered, but after lots of wires and prodding and poking it was decided that doing nothing medical or surgical was the best option unless anything changes. Had some very big life changes last year, divorced, still sad about this at times, but settling down again, concentrating on being happy and ''living in the moment'' now, life's too short to be anything but happy, don't you think? xXx & I still get great support from my GP who has supported me recently during my crazy idea of doing the Great North Run, it was Hard Work! You can still sponsor me if you like, http://uk.virginmoneygiv...rUrl=RA&isTeam=true Thank You xXx
